Artist statement & biography
In 1968, I was a Junior art major at Kent State University when Uncle Sam called. After my tour in Vietnam, I had little to no interest in painting, and the idea of creating them didn’t resurface until 2018, 50 years later.
I’m now trying to make up for lost time, and finding the work satisfying and rewarding. Frankly am a bit surprised at my progress in these few years. I’ll let you be the judge of my work, and I promise that it will be even better by next year.
